Bioethics: Dilemmas, School of Arts & Sciences - Graduate teaching assistant for two sessions of this undergradaute bioethics class. Graded weekly reflections and facilitated small group discussions on a broad range of subjects including the doctor-patient relationship, issues at the end of life, research ethics and reproductive ethics. I developed lesson plans, formulated presentations and taught classes on specifically on Palliative Care & Hospice and Confidentiality & Duty to Warn. |
| Independent Scholarship - Conducted extensive research on ethics related to all aspects of pharmacy. Have composed papers on international ethnobiopharmacology research, material complicity associated with pharmacists' conscientious objections to dispensing emergency contraception and the ethics related to tangible and virtual pharmaceutical drug samples. Other areas of interest involve surigcal/intraoperative ethics, ethics of medical instruction, and international health research ethics. |
